Spent a few days making 2 silage bags of oatlage. All the fields were planted at the same time but ripened very uneven due to dry weather. Using my 1968 4020 with 35 chopper and a 6 ft direct cut head. These heads are very rare here in the midwest but in the mid atlantic area they were fairly popular for making small grain silage. Should be some nice beef cow feed. Have a few acres left to try out my new 42 pulltype combine if I ever get it home. Tom
