Economy tractor stuck transmission

I have a 14 hp., all gear drive, Economy tractor with the transmission "stuck" in third gear. This happened when the tractor was not running and sitting still. My kid pulled it from neutral into third gear. Have tried rocking it, and running it to no avail. Any suggestions?
