I'm also trying to wrap my head around how they can make a 3 cylinder turbodiesel powered, all wheel drive hydrostatic drive tractor weigh barely 2,000 pounds. My 149 Cub Cadet is a much smaller tractor, single cylinder 14 hp engine, no front drive and it still weighs about 1,000 pounds. How did Branson add that much in size and components and still only double the weight of a garden tractor? They had to cut corners somewhere to achieve that savings in weight.
