Here is some actual advice on selling the tractors.
Since you're not there and I'd expect you don't care to drive back and forth every time someone expresses interest in them and wants to go kick the tires, only to hem and haw and offer you $500 for both, I would recommend finding someone local to sell the tractors for you. Local machinery dealer, or an auctioneer. It will cost you a percentage of the sale price, but consider how much it would cost you to travel back and forth repeatedly to deal with people who only want to waste your time.
Talk to the neighbor. Find out if there are any good consignment auctions coming up soon. GOOD auctions, ones that attract large crowds and have a good number of decent tractors. Many consignment auctions are just places where people dump their junk, and everything brings junk price, no matter how good it looks.
Another option is, if a local auctioneer has a monthly online sale. There are three outfits running monthly online auctions in my area alone. Online auctions often realize higher prices because people that are interested can and will bid, whether because they're too "shy" to bid in person, or because they can't make an auction in person.
