Fordson E27N Major built between 1945 and 1951. Slightly the wrong blue, should be a bit darker. Three forward gears and could be had with a high or low speed rear axle. Fitted with a Perkins P6 40hp engine as a factory fitted option, also with a Perkins L4. Later tractors could even have a two speed, Hi/Lo option giving the six forward and two reverse gears. Some models were even fitted with the later E1ADDN diesel engine that was used in the Fordson Major Diesel.
If I am honest, not my favourite Ford or Fordson tractor, I drove one in my early years but much prefered the Model N or the E1A Major.
