What ever you do, I'd figure out a way to do that physical therapy. Whether or not you stay in the nursing home to make that happen, I'd make an effort to participate and accomplish the physical therapy. Without it, you'll stay the same physically. I've known to many that have ignored the PT or didn't go through with it till the end, and it proved out to not be the thing to do. Then it is, just live with whatever ailment after that. When it comes to PT, nobody is gonna do that part for ya and make things right. It's you that needs to participate and do it.
If your not a church goer, this might be a good time. You might find something missing in your life there. If you are a church goer, let this story be known there, and put yourself on thier prayer list. Something about Christian fellowship is the best kind of fellowship out there.
Sometimes when a loved one is lost, it seems the whole world has come to an end. But if you give it some time and look around, you'll see that it hasn't.
