I parked our Rental car just around that corner to the west and the wife went into the souvenir shop and I looked that old Ford over good. There was a mannequin on the passenger side of the seat in April 2013. We wanted to start our trip at the Lake front downtown Chicago on a Sunday morning but Winter Storm Virgil delayed us a day so we picked up I-57 on I-55 in Bolingbrook, and made it to Litchburg, Ill that night. Wife & I and our Shi Tsu puppy did 2200 miles in 14 days, saw the sign into the parking lot in LA saying NO Pets and did a U-turn and told the wife to program the GPS to get us out of LA the fastest way possible! I'd like to go down US Rt 66 again but NOTHING west of Utah is of ANY interest to me. I'd like to see if the water level at the Hoover Dam has risen. Not much else in Las Vegas is of any interest to me, I have to see the salt flats, and lots of the geological landforms in Utah are facinating. My college degree is in geography with special interest in landforms geography.

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
