This is the last vintage riding mower I had. Recently traded it off for some vintage French mopeds and some cash. Turns out I did pretty well on that deal. Unusual for me. I see one on eBay for around $800, paid 50 bucks for mine years ago. Kept it long enough I knew I wasn't going to do anything with it so it had to go.
I wonder about people cutting grass with these little machines back in the day. Maybe two inches or so it would do ok. I can't imagine getting much work done, even if you made life easy for it.
The one I posted in the storage shed is offered for $400. Seems to be the way it goes: You either find them at giveaway prices or someone is planning their retirement around the sale. Nothing in between. Collectors of these little tractors are reluctant to part with much cash for them. I'm no exception.
