There was a driverless T - 8, N H tractor at the Farm Progress Show . Any of you see that. The T-8 was pulling a grain cart along side a large N H combine harvesting corn. The T -8 was moving exactly the same speed as the CR 990 N H combine. Apparently the combine operator had software in his combine cab which was controlling the T - 8 grain cart tractor. There was no crash at the end of the field. I think the computer software to control a grain cart tractor from a combine cab is on the open market now, not sure. I wonder how many farmers will adopt this driverless tractor technology in the next 3 or 4 years. Seems like it would eliminate a hired hand down on the farm if you can't find help during corn harvest. What do you think about this. This was on U tube ,search for N H T-8 driverless tractor at FPS.
