So my 3 point hitch arms go up, but not down.on my new to me 9n. So this is what I did today. Dumped all the hydraulic oil out of transmission, hydraulic pump, and differential. Went to tractor supply, got the cheapest hydraulic oil they had ,2 gallon bottle. Dumped that in, then added about 3 gallons of kerosene.started the tractor, went up and down the driveway a couple times, then parked it, and left the run, worked the lift control lever up and down, arm's still didn't go down.removed the side inspection cover, and the arm's decided to go down. I worked the lever up and down a dozen times, watched the oil churning around in the tractor. Going to leave the oil mix in the tractor for the weekend. Will start the tractor up and work the lift several times over the weekend.then drain it out, and refill with a good hydraulic oil, and see how it goes.
