Hello everyone. I just thought I would give everyone an update on my esophageal cancer journey. Today I completed the last of my 25 radiation treatments at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. I completed my 5 chemo treatment last Wednesday afternoon as well. So today I was surrounded by many awesome family members and friends there to help me celebrate the ringing of the bell. This is such an amazing accomplishment for me! I has been a long 5 weeks being away from home for treatment, but I know the good Lord above sent me to the correct medical facility to get the best treatment I could receive. I received 2 pins for completing these treatments also. They are colored stones that signify the completion of chemo and radiation treatments. This is a huge step forward for me before I have to go in for surgery in the next 2 months to remove the cancerous area in my esophagus. The Mayo health care people are absolutely first class medical care employees in my opinion. I have nothing but great things to say about the great quality of care I received in this timeframe. I have read many of your comments as I post on here as well as the CaringBridge site that was created for me. Thank you all for the tremendous outpouring of support, thoughts and prayers! They are truly welcome and appreciated and working. Take care. May the good Lord above bless your day. Kow Farmer Kurt

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
