i am not that familiar with the 404, but it dont take me long to find out what to do when i start inspecting things. look for an oil level check plug on the left side by clutch area. look for the fill plug somewhere around between your legs maybe the gear shift. it cant be that hard. do you know what oil to use? if it has a T.A. then it would be hytran oil. just giving some info cause no one else has and your itching to get mowing.
