Do you mean 'Owatonna'? I know Deutz bought them, but I thought when they did this they changed their balers from the Owatonna/OMC design to the Deutz design. Both were roller-type, soft-core, fixed chamber balers, but not the same design.
Regardless of all that: I'm assuming you mean the pickup bands that go between the teeth? When my local dealer couldn't get them for my old Vermeer round baler I made a few out of 'Chanex': A type of UHMW (high-wearing plastic) used to guide roller chain. It works great, and I would never buy steel ones after using it: It's a thermoplastic, so you can heat it to bend it and it'll hold its shape. It's made of UHMW so it's extremely high-wearing. If the pickup teeth get slightly bent, they rub quietly against the plastic and don't grind along like they do on the steel slats. If the pickup hits a rock, they just bounce/shape around the rock and spring back to their original shape. And the cross-section profile of 2'' Chanex almost perfectly matches the original profile of the slats on my Vermeer. I heat it over a barbecue very carefully until I can bent it into the same shape as the original steel slats, then tie the ends together so it doesn't spring back while cooling. It's a bit of a trick to getting it hot enough where it will permanently form to the shape you want, but not getting hot enough to melt/burn it.
There are a few different sizes of Chanex (and a few different manufacturers - 'Chanex' is one specific one). I bet one of the sizes will match yours close enough. A decent industrial supply store should be able to order Chanex (or an equivalent).
For more popular baler models (like our Deeres) there are a few aftermarket companies already make poly pickup bands, but I doubt the Deutz or Owatonna ones were popular enough for that.

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
