I've been wanting a backhoe to do some chores around my property. A 1969 Case 560 popped up on FB about 1.5 hours away. Original post said it had a leaky hydraulic line but it ran a couple of years ago. Bring gasoline, battery and hydraulic fluid and you could drive it up on the trailer. I've been back and forth about and now it apparently won't start. He suspects bad coil. I think I can get this machine for under 1000 but he has a firm offer for a few hundred dollars less from a person that will take it, no questions asked. He's doesn't live where the tractor is but I can go see it and try and start it. Can I somehow get around a bad coil for starting purposes. Any ideas what this tractor is worth if its got decent tires and all major systems are in fair shape? Thanks!
