Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see
Welcome to the forums.
You cannot paste pictures into posts here. To post pictures look down the page a bit from the box where you type a reply, and you will see a bar that says ''Upload Photos/Videos''. Below that is a button that says ''Choose Files''. Click on that button to go to your device where you can search the files in your device (computer, tablet, phone) to find the picture you want post, select your picture, then click the ''Open'' button and the program will upload that picture to your post. There is a size limit of about 7 MB of pictures/video per post (not per thread). That can be one picture or the total of several pictures in a post. This is the same in Modern and Classic views. Some cell phone pictures need to be reduced before they will post. And sometimes it takes a bit for them to upload, so don't hurry the process and use the preview button to see that the picture(s) is there before hitting submit.
As for the steel lines. I am guesing you are looking at the three bundled together on the right side.
The smaller of the three can be disconnected at the coupling just behind the joint of the engine and front support and stay connected at the rear, if you don't want to break the other connections (steering and pressure control valve).
One of the other two larger lines is connected by hose and clamp to the bottom spigot of the hydraulic oil cooler, just forward of the engine/front support split. (I recommend replacing the top and bottom oil cooler hoses with new molded ones from JD while it is apart.) The other line is connected to the side of the hydraulic pump with a JIC fitting (1-5/16'' wrench needed, if I remember right). On the rear of those two lines you will see a metal clip, held in place by a 3/8'' capscrew threaded into the clutch housing, between them. Remove the capscrew and clip. the lines just pull out of the clutch housing. They have packing washers inside the clutch housing the tube ends seal against. Be aware the one of those lines has a guide, spring, and ball inside it that can fall out, don't lose them. It is a check valve to prevent oil being pushed back into the transmission through that line, The seat for the ball should stay in the clutch housing.
If this is a North American 2030, you should get a copy of the 2030 technical manual, TM1051. You can use the 2030 parts manual for free online at JDparts. Here is a link to it.
Upload one or more videos to your post. Photo and video filesizes should be less than 8MB. Formats allowed are gif, jpg, png, ogg, mp4, mov, and avi. Be sure to use filenames without spaces or special characters, and filetypes of 3 digits lower case.

Today's Featured Article - Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
