Lots of comments on how inept the younger generation is. There's certainly a lot of truth to that, but I've said it before on here: If you have a problem with one kid, blame that kid. If you have a problem with a Generation of kids however, blame the Parents of that generation. A whole generation of kids didn't suddenly become inept overnight - it's because they never were made to get out and do what previous generations did. For every generation that goes by, we always try to work and plan in such a way that our children don't have to work as hard as we did. At some point, however, we're doing our kids a disservice with this attitude.
I'm not saying anyone on hear is like that: I suspect anyone who's into old equipment also knows how to teach and train their kids properly. But the general trend in society of always trying to make our kids' lives easier is surely coming back to bite us.
