I have a 12 V battery in my 54 chevy flatbed I used it to haul my Model M Allis Chalmers Crawler I used for years in my disking business. I stopped disking about four years ago. I had very few customers, plus everything was getting old, including me. I just do mowing now so much easier. I put a new Interstate battery in the Truck in 2013. the battery still holds a charge. I roll the motor over when I think of it. When the batt gets a little low I give it a charge a couple times a year. I know others have had better success with batteries, but if I get 3-4 years from a battery I am doing good. Stan
