How about a sketch of the belt run since we can only see part of it. To me it looks like the vee of the belt is in the drive pulley and the one blade pulley shown with the flat of the belt on the idler pulley.
How about some pictures of the whole set up.
At this angle the belt is moving counter clockwise and needs to be clockwise
