If the tractor your looking at is large enough to require a DEF system the mechanics of that will cause more headaches than the computer operating systems. While I agree that simple is better and you are wise to consider it I would not chose that over all other pluses and minuses. The biggest problem with small quantity imports is parts and service, starts at brand new and VERY soon gets rapidly worse as the years go by. Lastly resale is really bad. As you might guess I don't own one. There are a few around who claim successful ownership but far and away more with sad tales of no parts, no service and resale values that will make you cry.
