rustin, I agree with ktheol on the Danuser posthole digger. It is just a basic design that most all others look like. But the soil type should have more to do in your descision on this purchase.
If you soil type is all soil, No rock, or hard rock ledges then a regular 3 pt digger should work fine.
Here in Central Texas where we have some of the hardest digging contions possible, then you may need a really heavy duty digger like a "Beltec" hydraulic digger. It will chew threw most all soil conditions we throw at it here. Yes they are pricy, But I havent been stopped yet here on our place, and in the past with lesser diggers it is start with the the Stud Bar at 10 in. deep.
These units are what the Pro-Fence Builders use in this area. An average cost for one is $3400.! Hope helps.
