Spacers in general would add a lot of stress to axles I would think on any axles front or rear. What is the purpose unless you are going to real narrow or wide rows on a row crop farm. For stability loaded tires or weights will do more with the weight being lower center of gravity from them. I have never in 60 years tipped a 60 inch center tire tractor yet. we have some hills though not like some places in the country. I think according to the soils book for the county our steepest slopes are around 12-18 percent in one 10 acre field the rest are flatter. That is the reason it has been kept in pasture for the lest 50 years and has just been worked in that time a couple years ago and is now back to hay for probably the next few years then back to hay each time it is rotated out of hay for a year.
