Leo,
Your gas engine won't have a preheater, that's for
diesels. However, the block heater or the inline
water heater that fits on the lower rad hose will
work great for you. It warms everyting up. Does
your starter turn over slow in the cold weather?
That might be more of a problem for a gas engine.
If so you can get an electric battery blanket.
