For some reason my password isn't working this morning?? So I changed my login name a little bit.... If you have an old pot and a outside burner, pour about two gallons of used diesel motor oil into the pot and heat up the oil to about 250 degrees. Obviously be careful working with fire and oil!! This will expand the piston and the oil will work into the ring grooves too. The rings will expand somewhat too, but less than the aluminum pistons. Let them "cook" for 15 minutes or so and then shut off the burner and let the pistons cool while still in the oil. This will take a few hours. Remove the pistons and then remove the rings with an expander. You still may have to force out the ends of the rings and maybe even break the rings into smaller pieces. Another option is to heat them in the oven to about 200 degrees and then remove them one-by-one and spray WD40 on the rings. This will cool the rings first and might "unstick" them. This will make lots of stinky smoke so do it outside. And watch for igniting the lubricant.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
