Mark, Myself and others have answered this several times over on the JD page and on Rummys JD Page www.johnnypopper.com so here it is quickly in a nutshell form. Change all bulbs and lights to 12 volt. If coil ignition, place a ballast resistor in series with high side of coil to drop coil voltage from 12 to 6 volts. The alternator hook up is on the JD page where Dave Wickman and I discuss wiring an alternator ad nauseum wit Swede and Farmer Tom. If you need it again please e mail.
