Your pump has two outlets on the left side, and one on the right. the right side and front left are the two you want to hook to the loader. The rear port on the left side is a "delayed" outlet. It was designed to lift the rear gang of mounted cultivators at the end of the row automatically. The front ports would lift the front units, and the rear shovels would then be lifted within inches of the same place when in 3rd or 4th gear. By installing shut-off valves in the lines to your loader, it can be lifted, locked in the raised position, and the left rear port used for a second implement, such as a mower. You may get different opinions concerning the oil to use, but SAE 30 non-detergent works well, and is comparable to what IH intended when the tractor was built. Modern hydraulic fluids such as HY-TRAN will work ok in most cases. Some detergent oils may have a little more tendency to foam in the system, and that's bad. Checking the oil level is a little bit of a black art. The most important factor, is make sure it doesn't run dry. A few of these old Farmalls have a dipstick. Most of the ones I've been around don't. If the cylinders on your loader are large, they will hold nearly the capacity of the reservoir. If you have enough oil to lift the loader to maximum height, you obviously have enough. I don't know what the fluid capacity of the pump is.
