That is a NH 489 (9 ft) picked up as high as it will go. The hay is only up to my thigh, just above my knee in poor spots. There should be about 70 bales per acre (45 lb small squares) this field needs fertilizer and lime, should be producing about 100 bales per acre. The evergreens make some acid runoff into the field from the needles on the forest floor. I will only get one more cut of about 30-50 bales per acre this year.
