i paid the same amount plus i got a quackdigger with it. big deal! The 800 series in general are worth their weight in gold, an 861 probably more so. Mine sucks the gas down, but I've still got a little leak by the fuel bowl. Don't know about the PTO shaft problem though. Ask the local Ford-N.H. dealership.
