I had a 1650 diesel, had the same thing once, but it was the bleeder valve open a little from when I changed the fuel filter, make sure you aren't getting air in the system somehow. Check for loose fittings & cracked hoses. Make sure your tank is properly vented, timing is very critical, not much room for error there. Are your valves adjusted too tight?...DDG
