The gear oil problem is likely to be the gasket at the front end of the transmission countershaft if you are observing the leak toward the front of the transmission case. If the leakage is more toward the rear of the transmission case, it's probably the pinion seals. Leaking pinion seals also reveal themselves by a less than effective left brake (because the brake band has become subject to transmission oil). Hydraulic leakage probably the spool valves. O-rings are probably tired. No easy fix on any of these things. Big time disassemby required.
