I have a Ford 8N that I flattened the exhaust pipe when I ran over a log. This caused the head gasket to blow and allowed oil and water to mix (in the oil pan) and consume oil and water when running. In fact when I would accelerate under load the radiator cap would blow steam. A new head gasket did the job.
