Do not baby it around too much. I have seen new tractors in for an overhaul before 1200hrs because the owner never loaded it up and made it work. Make it work within the top portion of it's power, but do not overload it and lug it until at least 20 hrs are on it. Keep the rpms up, no slow speeds, as the rings will seat faster and last longer. Everyone has his own opinion, but I have had lots of luck treating a new machine like I would run it 2000hrs down the road...DougS
