An advantage to the Ford's 9/2/8N's is the 3-pt hitch. Aftewr 1950 I think the patent expired and other tractors came with 3-pts. You certainly can buy a 3-pt to adapt to any tractor I suppose. I have a '48 Super A with rear blade, a '49 Cub with belly bush hogger/mower, belly blade, etc., and a '50 Case with 3-pt rear blade. Any tractor in these lines (small to mid-sized) would do your job(s). Its always best to get it with a little more power and versitility. It's also always good to check on re-sale just in case and of course, parts availability. Good Luck
