Mr.D.Smith I just restored a 70 L.P. Gas Std,which I went through the clutch,there's more to it than just replacing disks. In the back you have a operating sleeve that the toggles go into,and three C-4s (casting No.'s)that also become worn.If the clutch gets to were you cann't get a good adjustment,it's ether to tight or slipping when you back off on adjusting nuts,you need to replace the C-4's thats the toggle sockets ($28 ea.)if that don't stop it you might need to replace the operating sleeve,and its hard to press off and on.Make sure you got all your adjustments in order,before you do this.When you engage clutch it should have a nice crisp ca-thump.
