Forget the Ford unless you just want to play in the fields. Why not consider a David Brown (CASE) their cheap have mucho power, parts are around and most will have P.S. The fords were good tractors and are as popluar as a 55 Chevy (most 55 Chevies are setting in the garage) and the fords are not far behind. How many 55 chevies do you see on the road? How many 8Ns do you see in the fields. Stop and think, get down to basics and look around.
