Sam, Your Case should have a seven digit serial number with two or three letters ahead of the number denoting the model. Prior to 1953 all of the models were in the same series numbers starting each year with only the letters to denote the different models. Starting in 1953, the numbers were still seven digits but the different models had different starting numbers for each model during the years. Try looking for an engine number if you can't find the tractor serial number and it will help. Harold H
