I've got a 6' KingKutter straight blade that does have a bolt on edge to it, but it's heavy enuff that I've never had to replace any thing yet (knock knock). I have accidently hit concrete edges while plowing snow & it just bounced off the edge (taking a little chipp of course out of the cement), oops - not a recommended way to chip concrete....
Also, if you want a box blade, a straight blade can be modified by putting sides on, if you're
setup, tool wise for it....
