Years ago tires were measured at the tread width now they are measured at the widest point which is in sidewall 11.2 is width at widest point. 10x28 was old size that came on the tractor measured ten inches at tread width and fit a 10 in wide rim. 28 inch is the rim diameter. This is my experience as a tire dealer for over forty yr.
