Modern disel pickups are a work of art. I had reason last month to drive an 04 GMC,1ton dually duramax from Indianapolis to Birmingham pulling a trailer rated for 12000lbs(not sure of what the trailer weighs)with a weight of 5000lbs on the trailer. the truck averaged 17mpg, I was impressed with the milage but more impressed with the way the truck pulled the load.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
