Hi,
I have used Multispark ignition on several different tractors. Once you use a capacitor discharge type you see a big difference. I think the reason the 2 Liter pinto didn't see a difference is the Ford also has a quality electronic ignition. When you go from a set of points and coil to a capacitor discharge multispark you see a difference from starting to pulling up against the governor.
A MSD-6 costs around $140.00.
