zane, thats a good tip to test out the theory, I just wasnt sure if that tractor had that feature on it at all. (Not really a Ford Man) Many tractors cars and trucks of that vintage and years later sure used that method. Thats what the (I) terminal on Ford solenoids is for and many mechanical push starter switches had that same terminal for that purpose also. I enjoy reading your posts. John T
