There is a lot of Allis G interest on the Stratton unofficial Allis page at:http://www.dstratton.com/allis/wwwboard/multipage1.html A great lot of interest. I've looked at the G closely and thought about one for hay raking. First thing its collectible. That raises its price. Second its unique and well qualified for garden crops. But so is the early farmall cub which may not be as rare. The one with the offset engine to allow seeing the cultivation easily. Of course the rear engine G gives super visibility. Tractors are easier to find that accessories, but I believe with some care in shopping all useful tools can be found. I saw more than 50 G's at the AC gathering near Marshalltown Iowa last summer. There was a Hefty model G made on the same pattern but larger. Its probably a lot rarer. I've decided that for my purposes my JD112 "garden tractor"/ mower will pull hay rakes just as fine as an AC G and I don't have to pay for it. Same engine power, poorer ride, a lot poorer clearance. As for cultivating, so long as I plant 6 rows at a time on 30" centers I could cultivate with my 4020 and row crop cultivator... Gerald
