I saw this in the I&T FO-20 manual, too. I could not find it in the Ford service manual, nor in the (1982 vintage) parts manual. Note that the parts manual does reference "white", "blue" and "yellow" parts groups for the control and unloading valves, bushings, and plugs. This probably takes care of the problems noted in FO-20 paragraph 322-324.
