All are called 601 Fords. There were 8 different 601 models depending on how the tractor was equipped (actually 16 if you consider that there was a gas and a diesel of each of the models. Both gasolines and diesels were available in 611, 621, 631, 641, 651, 661, 671, and 681 series. There were a total of six Nebraska tests covering the models, test #642, #643, #686, #702, #704, and # 706.The results ranged from a low of 25.90 dbr hp to a high of 29.82 dbr hp and a low of 31.78 pto hp to a high of 35.79 pto hp.
