I really enjoy reading your postings about torque, RPMs and horsepower. I think if you keep it up I may understand it. I'm getting close. I still don't get the formula for torque X RPMs = horsepower. So why are'nt the pullers just turning up the RPMs? So the Olivers and Farmalls should be gearing up and the JDs should be in first gear. I have observed the faster tractors start the better they seem to do but not if they power out early. How do you know what is early?
