Jim, Their are many ring manuf. who can make any ring you want,I had a J.D-R with a worn top groove I tkink it was 1/8" orig, but sloppy so I ordered a 3/16" thick one and cut the ring groove to fit on a lathe. I had repair sleeves pressed in to bring the bores back to orig size. Are your eng. bores within spec? If your pistons are wore and your bores are over the limit for a ring job you may have to bore and go to next size piston. I have a Clevite eng. catalog in front of me with listings for many Cont. engines What model is yours? They are still a popular eng. used in Lincoln welders and many other applications. [Massey] They only list the diesel for the 85 here.
