Bob, The center lift you refer to is a center rockshaft. Lots of older tractors had this and it used a series of rods or links to lift mounted implements which usually had both front mounted sections and a rear center section rather than three point hitch. It is a very positive lift and can be linked to lift anything if you have the parts. There was a rod to the rear with a semi rockshaft with either one or two lifting arms on the rear depending on the equipment used. These rear links can very easily be adapted to a three point hitch if you want to use modern equipment. If the rear rockshaft is missing you can fabricate one and still use your center lifting rockshaft to work your three point hitch. Harold H
