Dear cg. That belly pump isnt live hydraulics you know (like the live behind distributor hyd pumps) but it will lift a remote cylinder then gravity (oil flows back out of cylinder into tractor reservoir) allows the cylinder to collapse. You have to have the cyliner set up for one way operation which is just a filtered vent plug installed in the end opposite the input hose. You can buy those vent tubes at any tractor supply type store. Or, some one way only cylinders with only one hose, have that built in. John T in Indiana jmn50@msn.com
