purchase of a JD 440

I know those of you who are knowledgable are probably weary of answering these types of questions however I will ask. I am living in British Columbia, Canada. I am looking at a JD440 2cylinder gas crawler tractor. 2000 hrs logged. Stock C-frame dozer blade, directional reverser, 5 gears, germatic winch (doesn't work). Appears to be in good to very good condition. 65-70% under-carridge. The owner has owned it since 1967 and only used it for pushing snow on his driveway. Is 7,500 canadian as reasonable price to pay for such a machine? A reply would be much appreciated and I will try to return the favor if I can.
