I would check the blower paddles and if they are worn or bent, fix them, weld to build up. Then, you need to make sure that your engine rpms are high enough. You could speed up the engine to blow farther. I have had one for over 15 years and it works fine. In wet snow, it does not blow very far but it is a good blower and it is simple. Bill
