Just a comment and not meant to be smart alecky. Once you start him on a tractor, are you SURE that he can withstand the temptation to try it by himself sometime when you are not around? I personally know someone who as a kid, watched the adults start the tractor. When they weren't around, he did just what they had done. It started, and he came very close to crushing his younger brother. The comment below about a child's judgement is very true. Sometimes we forget just how dangerous tractors can be when we get caught up in the fun of them.
